How Do We Measure Up?

I have worked very hard on making Measurement fun for my students!  I have looked at our standards and the Big Ideas for measurement.  One thing that I didn't find that suited my classroom was vocabulary cards with pictures for the measurement vocabulary.  I prepared a set to help not only my ELLs, but the rest of my class too.  At the Kindergarten level, they are ALL learning a new language.

I have also created some additional linear measurement cards for my 1st and 2nd grade friends.  If you teach 1st grade, print out the Kinder set and the 1st grade set.  If you teach 2nd grade, print out all three sets.  Hope you can use these to help your students to Measure Up!
